RAILWAY DEVELOPMENT IN HUTT VALLEY.—Work has begun near Heretaunga Station on the duplication of the existing single line between there and Trentham. This is part of a scheme which includes the linking up of the Waterloo line with the main line along a route on the eastern side of the Hutt Valley.
