FURTHER REMAND
Alleged Theft In Sydney

Auckland, July 8.
Remanded on bail on June 28 for a week, Karl Jacob Regner, aged 26, merchant, appeared before Mr. C. R, Orr Walker, S.M., in the Magistrates’ Court to-day. Accused was arrested on the liner Mariposa before her do parture from Auckland for San Fran« cisco on June 27 and was later charged with stealing £l6/15/9 from Thomas William Dockray, trading as Kornoffi Co., in Sydney between May 31 and June 27.
On the application of Mr. McCarthy, who represented accused, a further remand of one week was granted. Bail was renewed.
