PRESENT VALUES OF STOCK
Uncertainty In The Markets
COMPARISONS WITH A YEAR AGO
Is stock to-day dear or cheap? The question is raised owing to rhe air of uncertainty prevailing in the markets for some few weeks past. Reference to this was made last Saturday in commenting upon the Dannevlrke sale and the Aberdeen Angus combined breeders’ sale at Stortford. The comparisons given here of current values and those of a yeai ago indicate what changes have occurred. Also are given some comments upon current values and the prospective returns to be expected from stock bought at such prices. These show to what degree market values are in alignment with what may be termed basic values.
