BOXING ON TUESDAY
One of the most attractive boxing matches’yet to be staged at Wellington will be presented at the Wellington Town Hall on Tuesday night by the Wellington Boxing As-soeiation, when Billy Hamilton, lightweight champion of Victoria, and one of the hardest-hitting men of his weight in this part of the world, will meet Henry Dunn, the popular Hutt Valley lightweight, who this season has been showing brilliant form. This season Dunn has scored two wins on points over Dummy Ganzon, against whom Hamilton has had a win and a loss. Dunn will have to use all his amazing skill to counteract the fast and very hard punching of Hamilton, who is by no means lacking in boxing science himself. Hamilton, too, is said to be at the peak of his form at present. “Tiger” Parks will meet Jack Davis in an eight-round professional encounter, and this bout will give Wellington enthusiasts a chance to see two of the best welter-weights i,u the country in action. Tommy Hansen will meet Pat Murphy, of England, iit a six-round professional bout, and there will be six amateur preliminaries.
