Visitors to Wellington Mrs. E. G. D. Eden, Wanganui, is visiting Wellington. Mrs. J. M. Hussey, St. John’s Hill, Wanganui, is visiting Wellington. Misses Ngaire Russell and A. Carey are Wanganui visitors to Wellington. Mrs. D. G. H. Bush, Parnassus, is visiting Wellington.

Mrs. Frank Wilding is a Christchurch visitor to Wellington, and is the guest of Mrs. Philip Cooke. Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Harding and Miss Harding, Ohangai, and Mrs. M. Sangster, Mangamingi, are South Taranaki visitors to Wellington. They will return at the week-end via M airarapa and Hawke’s Bay.

Mrs. A. R. Standish, New Plymouth, is a visitor to Wellington.

Mrs. E. T. Thorpe, New Plymouth, is spending a holiday at Wellington. Mrs. C. W. Rattray, Dunedin, arrived at Wellington yesterday. Mesdames A. T. Cattle, V. ,R. Renal and L. F. Spencer, Inglewood, are spending a short holiday at Wellington.

Mrs. L. Moore, Auckland, is visiting Wellington.

Mrs. G. Oliver is the guest of Mrs. J. Brown, Hawkestone Crescent, Wellington.

Miss Margaret von Dadelszen, who has been spending a few days with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. von Dadelszen, Mangateretere, arrived at Wellington to-day.

Mrs. J. Nixon, Wanganui East, is spending a short holiday at Wellington.

Miss Joyce Coop, Havelock North, is spending a few days at Wellington, and is accompanied by Miss Dorothy Wilson, Hastings. On her return home Miss Gweneth Holmes, Christchurch, will be her guest.

Mrs. A. R. Standish, New Plymouth, is spending a holiday at Wellington. Mrs. G. Savage, New Plymouth, is visiting Wellington. Later she will go on to Auckland.

Mrs. E. L. Thorpe is a New Plymouth visitor to Wellington.

Mrs. W. McL. Dowie, Hawera, is visiting Wellington for a short holiday. Mrs. D. Quickenden and Mrs. E. Smith are Patea visitors to Wellington. Mrs. C. Vause, Patea, is a visitor to Wellington.

Mrs. Oney Cox, Hawera, is spending a few days at Wellington. Mrs. Phil McCarthy, Hawera, is the guest of her mother, Mrs. Bourke, Wellington.

Mrs. W. T. Simmons and Miss H. Simmons, Patea, are visiting Wellington. Mrs. Douglas Holmes is a Wanganui visitor to Wellington for the races, and IS the guest of her sister, Mrs. Claude Parsons, Karori.

On Holiday Mrs. Lindsay Gilmour, The Terrace, Wellington, will leave to-morrow for Rotorua. Mrs. A. Atkinson, Wellington, is the guest of Mrs. H. J. Stace, Blenheim. Mrs. Pole and her daughter, Mrs. Boocock, Christchurch, are visiting Hastings as the guests of Mrs. Pole’s daughter, Mrs. H. S. Robinson. Mrs. C. H. de Jardine. Port Arthur, Canada, is the guest of Mrs. E. de Jardine, New Plymouth. Mrs. H. Hawthorn, Stokes Valley, Wellington, has arrived at New Plymouth. from Auckland on a visit to Mrs. W. J. Ewart. Mrs. A. S. Clark, New Plymouth, has left on a short visit to Tauranga. Miss Juliet Scott, Gisborne, is the guest of her aunt, Mrs. A. M. Thomson, New Plymouth.

Miss Margaret: Brown and Miss Joyce Barclay, Auckland, are staying with Mrs. R. Howell, New Plymouth.

Mrs. M. C. Mclntyre, Hawera, is spending a holiday at Palmerston North and Wellington.

Mrs. Ashton, Inglewood, is visiting relatives at .Palmerston North. Mesdames Graham and Roberts, Palmerston North,'are the guests of Miss Mavis Ashton, Inglewood.

Mrs. A. Wilson, Wellington, is spending a holiday with, Mrs. G. C. Yule, Featherston.

Returned Home

Mrs. H. L. Dustin, Wanganui, who has been visiting relatives at Wellington, has returned home. Mrs. Russell Moss, Napier, has returned home after spending a holiday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Aplin, Wellington. Miss Freda Wrigley, Rangitumau, has returned from a visit to Lower Hutt.

Mrs. R. Woods and Miss Lucy Goddard, who have been the guests of Mrs. E. Casey, Hataitai, have returned to Stratford.

Mrs. Darcy Cameron, New Plymouth, has returned home from a visit to Wellington.

Mrs. J. Hope Johnston, has returned to Palmerston North from a short visit to Wellington.

Going Abroad

Miss Violet Sergent, Wellington, left by the Wanganella on a visit to Sydney and Melbourne. Miss A. It. Paterson, Wellington Girls’ College, is leaving shortly for a year of study and travel in Europe.

Mrs. J. L. Stout, who has been the guest of Mrs. G. H. Humphreys, Palmerston North, for a few days, has arrived at Wellington, where Mr. Stout has taken up his duties as chief magistrate of the city.
