Mrs. Coulton, wife of Dr. G. G. Coulton, of Cambridge, arrived at Wellington this week Via Cape Town and Australia. Mrs. Coulton, who is known to many friends in New Zealand as Rose Ilbert, hopes to renew old friendships during her holiday in the North Island. During her stay at Wellington, Mrs. Coulton is the guest of Mrs. Alan Mulgan, York Bay. Next week she leaves for Waikato and Auckland. Professor A'. Strong, Dunedin/ and Miss V. Macmillan, of the Association for Country Education, Christchurch, will attend the annual conference of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union to be held at Wellington this month. Professor Strong will speak on adult education, and Miss Ma'cmillan will report on the functions of local resident tutors.

Mr. and Mrs. J. Prendergast, Christchurch, are recent,arrivals at Wellington, They will go on to Kirikiri as the guests of Mrs. L. Dwan.

Mrs. Donald Brown, Auckland, is staying at the Hotel St. George. Mrs. Magill is a Masterton visitor to Wellington.

Miss I. B. Smith, Haweta, is spending a short holiday in Wellington. Miss Gwen Silver, Eltham, is a visitor to Wellington.

Mrs. J. H. Morton is an Eltham visitor to Wellington.

On Holiday

Mr. and Mrs. Arnold, Lower Hutt, were recent visitors to Masterton, where they were the guests of their daughter, Mrs. H. P. Hugo.
