Visitors to Wellington Mrs. H. F. Wooffindin, New Plymouth, is a visitor to Wellington. Miss V. Wright, New Plymouth, arrived by air at Wellington recently for a holiday visit. Mrs. R. Wood, Stratford, is spending a short holiday at Wellington.

Mrs. C. S. Lucas is a Stratford visitor to Wellington, where she will spend a short holiday.

Mrs. A. Coleman, accompanied by her daughter, Mrs. E. Buist, Manaia, is spending a week’s holiday at Wellington.

Mrs. T. A. Duncan, Hunterville. accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Duncan, Taihape, are visitors to Wellington, and will leave shortly for a visit to Australia.

Mr. and Mrs. J.'Anderson, Wanganui, are visiting Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. R. Orton, Mrs. H. D. Bates, and Mrs. S. Barton, Wanganui, are race week visitors to Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. Russell Grace, Wanganui, are visiting Wellington for the races.

Mrs. S. G. Smith, New Plymouth, is visiting 'Wellington.

Mrs. P. F. Wall and Misses Mary and Judy Wall, Hatuma, are visiting Wellington for race week. Miss Carey, Lansdowne, is spending a short holiday at Wellington. Mrs. H. Speedy and Mrs. M. Sampson, Waipukurau, are race week visitors to Wellington.

Mrs. Erie Bayley, Palmerston North, is visiting Wellington for the race meeting.

Mr. and Mrs. S. L. Parsons, Wanganui, are visitors to Wellington for the Trentham races.

Mr. and Mrs. F. J. O’Neill, Kakatihi, are spending a short holiday at Wellington.

Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Speed, Makirikiri, are visitors to Wellington for the races.

Mrs. F. L. Paul, Wanganui, is a visitor to Wellington.

Mrs. W. T. Simmons and Miss H. Simmons, are Patea visitors to Wellington for race week.

Mrs. Coulton, wife of Dr. G. G. Coulton, of Cambridge, arrived at Wellington this week Via Cape Town and Australia. Mrs. Coulton, who is known to many friends in New Zealand as Rose Ilbert, hopes to renew old friendships during her holiday in the North Island. During her stay at Wellington, Mrs. Coulton is the guest of Mrs. Alan Mulgan, York Bay. Next week she leaves for Waikato and Auckland. Professor A'. Strong, Dunedin/ and Miss V. Macmillan, of the Association for Country Education, Christchurch, will attend the annual conference of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union to be held at Wellington this month. Professor Strong will speak on adult education, and Miss Ma'cmillan will report on the functions of local resident tutors.

Mr. and Mrs. J. Prendergast, Christchurch, are recent,arrivals at Wellington, They will go on to Kirikiri as the guests of Mrs. L. Dwan.

Mrs. Donald Brown, Auckland, is staying at the Hotel St. George. Mrs. Magill is a Masterton visitor to Wellington.

Miss I. B. Smith, Haweta, is spending a short holiday in Wellington. Miss Gwen Silver, Eltham, is a visitor to Wellington.

Mrs. J. H. Morton is an Eltham visitor to Wellington.

On Holiday

Mr. and Mrs. Arnold, Lower Hutt, were recent visitors to Masterton, where they were the guests of their daughter, Mrs. H. P. Hugo.

Miss Ruth Fawcett, who visited Masterton recently in connection with the work of the British and Foreign Bible Society, was the guest of Mrs. E. J. Brown, Church Street. Mr. and Mrs. R. McLeod, Martinborough, are visitors to Wanganui.

Mrs. Cyril White, Christchurch, who has been staying with Mrs. Franklin White, New Plymouth, has left for Wanganui.

Mrs. Taylor and her daughter, Miss Jean Taylor, New Plymouth, have left for a holiday at Auckland. Miss Hatrick, St. John’s Hill, Wanganui, is spending a holiday at Rotorua.

Mrs. P. Carter, Lower Hutt, was the guest of her mother, Mrs. C. C. Jackson, Kopuaranga, recently. Mrs. Pumfrey, Wellington, who has been the guest of Miss .Shirley Nowell, Ngaere, is now visiting New Plymouth. Dr. and Mrs. A. J. Crawford, Wanganui, are visiting Rotorua. Mrs. J. Penman, Wanganui, is spending a holiday with relatives at Tikorangi.

Mrs. Freeman Jackson, Wanganui, is the guest of her sister, Mrs. H. E. Worsp, Whangarei. Mrs. A. E. Grundy, Wellington, is visiting Auckland. Mrs. T. S. Sandos, Palmerston North, is a visitor to Auckland. Mrs. G. N. L. Kyngdon, New Plymouth, is spending a holiday at Auckland.

Miss Edith Lyttelton, the New Zealand novelist, who writes under the name of G. B. Lancaster, is visiting Auckland as the guest of Mrs. M. Lyttelton, Herne Bay. Miss Helen Musgrave is a Christchurch visitor to Hastings.

Mrs. T. C. Gofiin, Hawera, is the guest of her mother, Mrs. T. W. Twist, Plimmerton.

Mr. C. E. Richardson and his daughter, Miss Valmai Richardson, Wellington, left yesterday for an extended holiday visit to Tauranga.

Returned To Wellington

Mrs. Millward Anderson, Karori, has returned from a short visit to Mrs. G. C. Hitchcock, Rotorua.

Mrs. R. M. Bay, who has been visiting Timaru, has now returned to her home at Wellington.
