Dr. Walter Horton, professor of dogmatic theology in Oberlin Graduate School of Theology, Ohio. United States, will arrive at Auckland by the Monterey from San Francisco to-day. With Dr. 11. P. Van Dusen, of Union Theological Seminary, New York, lie is travelling under the auspices of the World''Student Christian Federal ion. and lie will spend about a month in New Zealand. From July 13 to 15 Professor Horton will take the leading part in a theological conference in Christchurch.

Ribbons made of wool instead of silk are to be awarded champions at future Royal Shows in New Zealand, the council of the Royal Agricultural Society of New Zealand decided yesterday. Attractive samples of wool ribbons, which are cheaper Ilian those of silk, were displayed at the meeting.
