Australian Glass Advance WOOLWORTHS FIRMER I'hu outstanding feature on the V ellington Stock Exchange yesterday was a sharp rise in Australian Glass. The shares of this company sold last week ex dividend at 90/-,-and on Tuesday at 92/9. Yesterday buyers were in at JU/b, out sellers were not showing. It is believed in some quarters Shat a new issue is imminent. Woolworths Ltd., continued to mPi-ove, *nd sales were made yesterday at 21/J, a rise of 1/3 since Monday. G. J. Coles were done yesterday at 83/o to 84/-, and the preference issue sold at «6/4s. zipart from those already mentioned share prices showed little change. Aew Zealand industrials were scarcely touched, Auckland Gas weakening to 20/-, and N.Z. Refrigerating, 10/- paid, to 8/3. Leading Australians were fgirly well supported at steady rates. .
