Improvement Of Soccer In Wellington The necessity for obtaining without delay the services of a first-class coach in order to improve the standard of Soccer in YY’ellington was stressed at a conference last night between members of the management committee of the YVellington Football Association ami a deputation from the council of the New Zealand Football Association. Mr. J. Meltzer, chairman of the management committee, who presided, welcomed Mr. J. A. .Milburn, chairman of the New; Zealand council, and Messrs. YV. J. Yaney, J. T. YVall« and IT. 11. A. Kenai, members of the council. The meeting discussed ways and means of fostering the code in the Training College and in the secondary schools. Transfers Approved. At. a meeting of the management committee the following transfers were approved: I. Upchurch, from Hospital to Seottisli Wanderers; R. Cullen, from letouc to Miramar Rangers; M.
