A 45ft. hardwood power line pole, which was being hoisted for erection in Seatoun Road, Kilbirnie, yesterday morning, proved too much for a portaide crane which, after pausing on the balance, toppled over on to its side. Little damage was done and the driver was only slightly injured. After a good deal of work the crane was eventually restored to its wheels.
