Annual Meeting Of Association
Appreciation of the part played by non-State schools in the development of tlie Dominion was expressed by tlie Alinister of Education, Hon. P. Fraser, at the annual meeting of the Association of tlie Heads of Registered Secondary Schools, lield in the Dominion Farmers’ Institute Rooms, Wellington, recently.
Because of the resignation of Father Dowling Air. N. Gibson presided. Regret was expressed at Father Dowling’s resignation, and Aliss S. Wilson, Queen Alargaret College, was elected president of Hie association. She is the first woman to occupy this position. It was decided that reports of experiments carried out in schools as a result of the inspirations arising from the New Education Fellowship Conference held in AVellington last year should be presented to future council meetings of the association.
