VERDICT OF NOT GUILTY
By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, May 10. The hearing was concluded in tlie Supreme Court to-day of charges against William Barron McNeil that he received certain sums of money from various persons on terms requiring him to pay the money to Forbes (N.Z.) Ltd., and that he fradulently converted it to his own use, thereby committing theft. The jury, after a retirement of four hours, returned with a verdict of not guilty.
