HUIS POSTPONED
By Telegraph—Press Association. Gisborne, May 9. Sir Apirunti Ngatu advises that because of damage to highways and the loss of an important building in the recent: storm, Hie Waiomatatini liui has been postponed indefinitely. This gathering was arranged to mark the rededication of the Porourangi meeting-house, lately moved from its original position to eliminate danger from flooding. Sir Apiraua Ngata also advises that tlie Wairoa hut in honour of Sir Janies Carroll has also been postponed from late in May to June 15-18 inclusive.
