Waiwetu Club F A flag competition on the Waiwetu links ' bn 'Saturday was won by W. F. Gill 11), : who placed the flag 12 feet from the pin lon the eighteenth green. This beat L. On Sunday the senior medal was won by K. Dixon, 75-B-69. His card was easily the best returned over the week-end, his gross score of 75 being only two over the scratch score for the course. W. F. Gill (11) was next, with 74 net. In the intermediate, J. Rogers, 85-12-73, was the winner, with L. Christensen (12) next. In the juniors, J. Hutchison, 98-24-74, was the winner. Mornington Club The best cards returned in the first round of the Rawlings Cup coinpetitiou, a bogey event, on tile Mornington links on Sunday were: F. D. Andrews (13), 2 up; J. Petersen, 3 up. S. L. White and R. Young were second, on a countback from L. Purdie and P. E. Henn and F. S. Bloom and G. Persson, all 1 up. The following qualified for the Whilehead Cup: L. V.
