WINTER COLDS
Many Persons in Wellington Affected With the approach of winter, many people' in Wellington have contracted colds, and the staffs of some business houses in the city have been depleted. Although not serious enough to be described as an epidemic, the outbreak has caused inconvenience. In some cases it is a mild form of influenza. The sufferers complain of a stiff neck, pain in the neck and limbs, and a general feeling of malaise. These symptoms are accompanied by a heavy cold, with watering of the eyes and a feeling of chill.
An officer of the Health Department said vestorday Unit the outbreak was probably the result of people failing to wear warmer clothing with the onset of cooler temperatures.
