MONDAY’S WRESTLING
The thrills which resulted from the recent wrestling match in Wellington between Andy Moen and Jack Kennedy were responsible for many requests being received by the Wellington association from its patrons for the men to be brought to the Town Hall for a return contest. The match in question will take place on Monday night In addition to the rivalry which has been worked up between them, the men will have the additional incentive provided by the fact that the winner has been promised a bout with “Lofty” Blomfield the following week at Wellington. Moen and Kennedy represent the ideal of wrestling enthusiasts. They are big and muscular and able to hand out and accept hard knocks, while the speed they displayed in their first encounter was nothing short of amazing. For the full eight rounds they set a torrid pace which never slackened and both were practically out on . their feet by the time the last gong sounded on a grandstand finish in which neither man was able to gain the advantage.
