CAPPICADE 1938
“Cappicade 1938,” described as \ arsity’s greatest revue, will be performed at the New Opera House on May 9, 10, and 11. Three units comprise the entertainment. The first is “Adam Baba aud the Forty Leagues.” a pungent commentary ou the political situation. The second, “Port Nick Iniquity,” an interlude composed and produced by John Carrad. is said to be up to his best standard. ' The principal show. “Olympian Nights,” has a plot simple but sound. It concerns the activities of a group of prominent personages of to-day who find themselves placed suddenly in a period of time some 2000 years ago. The description of their reactions to the state of the world and the world's reaction to them forms the basis of the play. When it is learnt that the prominent characters consist of caricatures of Mussolini. Hitler, Aunt Daisy, Chamberlain, Stalin, Mr. Savage, _ Mr. Nash and many others, it is easy to imagine the possibilities opening up.
