LEAVING KHANDALLAH
Mrs. J. Hare Entertained Miss Plimmer and Miss Batham were joint hostesses at a delightful afternoon party held at Miss Plimmer’s residence, Box-Hill, Khandallah, on Saturday, to bid farewell to Mrs. John Hare and her daughters who are leaving Khandallah to take up residence at Palmerston, North. The guests included Mrs. R. B. Gibbons, Miss N. Batham, Mrs. Matisford, Mrs. Cummings, Mrs. W. J. Phillips, Mrs. Steele, Mrs. H. Desborough, Mrs. S. P. Andrew, Mrs. Fiske, Mrs. A. B. Gibbons, Mrs. Ffiteh, Mrs. Monroe, Mrs. N. James, Mrs. I. M. Plimmer, Mrs. Hollis. Mrs. Matthew.son, Mrs. Pottinger. Mrs. J. G. Smith. Mrs. A. Green, Mrs. Litchfield, Mrs. Heays. Mrs. Reid, Mrs. Compton-Smith, Misses M. Kember, Haylock, and E. Brown. Oriental Football Club * Invitations have been issued for the Oriental Football Club’s jubilee ball at the Mayfair Cabaret on April 18 (Easter Monday). The club is celebrating its fiftieth anniversary, ami excellent arrangements have been made for the ball.
