COMPENSATION CLAIM

The Second Court of Arbitration has issued its decision on the claim for compensation by Charles William Rankin, New Plymouth, a waterside worker, against the New Zealand Shipping Company. Rankin met with an accident arising out of and during the course of his employment on July 4, 1936, his right shoulder being dislocated, resulting iu a permanent disability.

'The claim was heard before the court at New Plymouth. Plaintiff had resumed work since his accident, and tile only question for tlie court’s decision was what amount lie was entitled to by reason of bis decreased earning capacity in conseuenee of tlie injury.
