WOMAN ADMITS THEFT
By Telegraph—Press Association. Gisborne, April 4. The theft of £2/6/6 from a sawmiUer near Tauranga was admitted by Julia Costello, alias Julia Shultz, who appeared before Mr. ,E. L. Walton, S.M., at the Magistrates' Court to-day. The police stated that accused and her husband had been travelling to shows throughout the Dominion. She had offered to read the head of complainant, requiring him to produce all the silver he had. Subsequently he found that £2/6/6 was missing. Accused was convicted and ordered to come up for sentence when called upon.
