The Union Company’s liner Awatea arrived at Wellington yesterday morning from Sydney and berthed at No. 1 soutu Queen’s Wharf. She is to leave again at 5 p.m. to-day on the return trip to Sydney. The Awatea brought the following .passengers :—

Cabled advice has been received by the Shaw, Savill Company that its motor-ship Zealandic cleared Colon last Thursday. She left Port Chalmers on March 10 for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow, via tlie Panama Caual. WAITAKI TO RESUJIE. The Union Company’s Waitaki, now undergoing overhaul and survey at JVellington, came off the floating dock yesterday afternoon and berthed at Taranaki Street Wharf. She is to recommission on Thursday ,and sails that day for Jlelboiirne, via Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluff. The Waita'fii is re-entering the regular three-week-ly service from Jfelbourne for the winter months, now that the Maunganui has completed her summer running. The Waitaki will leave Jfelbourne on her first trip on April 20 for Bluff. Dunedin, Lyttelton and Wellington. TANKER SHABONEE. The J’acuuni Oil Company, lias received advice that the tanker Shabonee left Los Angeles on Jlarch 24 with bulk motor-spirit for discharge at Auckland, Wellington and Lyttelton. She is due at Auckland on April 17. AKAWA CLEARS BALBOA. The Shaw, Savill Company has received cabled advice that its liner Arawa, en route from London and Southampton to Wellington and Lyttelton, cleared Balboa on Saturday. She is due here on April 21. WAUVERA AT LONDON.. Cabled advice lias been received that the ■ Shaw, Savill motor-ship Watwera Loudon last Saturday. She left Lyttelton on March 2 for London, via Cape Horn and Las Palmas, and has made a very smart passage oC SOJr days. ROMNEY DUE ‘TO-'DAY. To continue discharge of her Pacific coast cargo, the Union Company s chartered steamer Ronine.v is due at Wellington this morning from .Auckland, aud will berth at Fryatt Quay. She is to leave again to-morrow for Lyttelton. Dunedin and Australia to complete discharge. KOZAN MARU REPORTS. Wright, Stephenson and Co. Ltd. have received a wireless message from the Y.K.K. Line motor-ship Kozan Maru en route from Japan, stating that she left Noumea on Sunday for Auckland, where she expects to arrive on Thursday afternoon. She will discharge there and will discharge and load at Wanganui. Wellington, Dunedin and Lyttelton, returning to Napier and Auckland to complete loading The vessel is now due here on April I<. and Is to clear Auckland finally on April 28 for Japan. LONDON’S SHIPPING. During the week ended February to. 1085 vessels, representing 97’2,851 net register tons, used the Port of London.
