MAORI FOUND SHOT
Accident While Cleaning Rifle By Telegraph—Press Association. Wanganui, April 4. Teoka Ngawina, aged 28, a married man, was found shot in a camp at Tokomaru East yesterday morning. It appears that be had been cleaning a .303 rille which evidently had in it a cartridge which was pushed back into the breach. Later, while he was closing the breach, the cartridge exploded through the breach, Ngawina receiving the charge in his chest. The rifle had been tied to the ridgepole of the tent.
