FINE FOR SLY-GROG SELLING
By Telegraph—Press Association. Ashburton, March 25. Samuel Cunliffe was lined £2O for sly-grog selling. The police evidence was that a sale had been made to two youths, one of whom was aged 10. A girl served the liquor. The police subsequently raided the premises and found four mi n with bottles and glasses hi front of them Another walked in during the raid. All five were Hued 30/-, The police seized 58 bottles of liquor.
