Y.M.C.A. STREET DAY
The Hutt Valley Y.M.C.A. hold a puceessful street day at Lower Hutt yesterday. The stall, which was well stocked with produce and cakes, was in charge of Mrs. C. G. Hedge (convenor), Mesdames W. Nash, Horrobin, Silverwood, and Lu hrs.
The capital value of Eastbourne ha« been reduced from £803,000 to £729,000 under revaluation. If the hospital levy is not increased next year there will be a reduction in the borough’s: hospital rate.
