Stocks have declined by one to nine points as a result of President Roosevelt’s speech, in which he denounced those who were retarding American progress. The average of prices realised showed that the market had wiped out the entire gains achieved during the past three years. Numerous individual shares showed declines at the lowest level reached for years past. Gold Mining Returns The Mossy Creek dredge reports that there was no wash-up this week. Golden Daw nreports that for_the 20 working days ended March 19, 353 tons was treated for a realisation of £523 at 142/- a gold ounce.
