Wellington Markets Dull

INDUSTRIALS NEGLECTED

Little change and no improvement were seen yesterday in the Wellington share markets, which continued dull and listless. Trading was inactive with little or no movement in prices. Government loans were quietly steady. The 4 per cent, stock, 1943-46, sold a. fraction better at £lO4/7/0. Banks were dull with a slightly better tone. Australasias moved up to £lO, sellers asking £lO 6/-. New Zealands sold unchanged at 43/6. All other sections o£ the market were extremely dull, with little inquiry for industrials.
