Organisers In Germany Tracked Down NAZI POLICE CLAIM Charges Of High Treason To Be Preferred By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Berlin, March 23, The Nazi secret police claim that at last they have tracked down the organisers of the “German Freedom Party,” which for months past has been broadcasting mysterious radio messages and circulating thousands of pamphlets inciting the people to overthrow the present regime. It is understood that a number of men and women have been arrested, including two editors, a former Reichstag deputy, and civil servants, and that they are awaiting trial before the dreaded People’s Court, from which there is no appeal. Two squadrons of German cavalry proceeded to the Hungarian frontier, where they fraternised with Hungarian regiments, indicating that Germany is following up her declared policy of championing Hungary’s grievances against the peace treaties. Another indication that Germany is reviving her pre-war dream of hegemony in south-eastern Europe and the Middle East is the opening of the Berlin-Bagdad air service.
