There was a rush- for the Hauraki Plains land at Auckland yesterday morning The Crown Lands Board received 4257 applications by 1092 applicants for 112 sections. He thought if the Government made a grant of £3OOO the initial work on one of the ships could be done. Mr. Massey suggested that ha should see the Acting-Minister for Defence (the Hon. R. H.
