Fay Compton In "George And Margaret"
TAESGRIBED as hilarious comedy, “George aud Margaret," which is to be played by Miss Fay Compton and her company on her return visit to the North Island, beginning at Wellington on Easter Saturday is a delightful study in family life. It concerns the hyphenated Garth-Banders and their emotions and reactions, and has had great success in London and New York. It is one of the. most entertaining comedies ever written and as a result, the young author, who is also au actor of note in England, has been hailed as one of the coming playwrights of England. The piece has hundreds of little lightning strokes that spring out of character and, make it refreshingly witty and amusing. Miss Compton has a genial role as the harassed mother.
