Heather Thatcher Star In American Film
TWO internationally famous players whose names are known all over Europe, Kurt Bois .and Heather Thatcher, are in the cast of the screen version of the stage success, “Tovarich,” which has been produced at the Warner Bros.’ studios, and will be screened in New Zealand in the near future.
Bois, former Max Reinhardt star, and Miss Thatcher, beautiful English comedy queen, appear in the hilarious dinner scene in which Charles Boyer as an exiled Russian prince, turns butler, and Claudette Colbert as the Grand Duchess, is the maid. Casey Robinson wrote the screen comedy of the vicissitudes of Russian emigres driven to Paris by the revolution.
Other stars who are in the cast are Basil Rathbone, Anita Louise, Morris Carnovsky, Vladimir Sokolov and Isabel Jeans.
