MIRAMAR ESPERANTO SOCIETY

At this week’s meeting of the Miramar Esperanto Society, the programme included a playette entitled “Lu Kliento Venas por Konsilo” (“The Client Comets for Advice”). It was presented by Mr. J. E. Wells (the very busy lawyer), Mr. R. Stroobant (tbe patient client), and Master Malcolm Potts (the clerk). The sketch was specially written in simple language, so that the majority of the members could enjoy the situation. After presentation the story was told in detail in English by the president for _ the benefit of beginners, and the play given for a second time. The double presentation wa« an innovation, and was highly spoken of by the younger students, who were better able to follow the dialogue. It. was announced that another original play, “La Eftro de la Dome” (“The Head of tbe House"), would be part of next week’s special programme.
