BASIC WAGE RATE
Increase In Queensland Brisbane, March 22. The State Industrial Court has granted an increase in the basic wage of 3/. for adult males and 2/- for adult females. The new rates will be £4/1/a week for males and £2/3/- for females. Queensland's basic wage is now higher Mian any other State in the Commonwealth.
