EXPORT OF HELIUM
Hitch In Contract For - Zeppelin Company (Received March 24, 12.30 a.m.) Washington, March 22. It is disclosed that despite the granting of a licence for the exportation of helium to the Zeppelin company on February 8, a hitch occurred due to inability to frame a contract definitely precluding, the use of the gas for military purposes.
A German steamer brought containers for the helium to Texas last September, but no shipments have been made, or can be made, until a satisfactory agreement, including the question of price, is reached.
