BRITISH LOCOMOTIVES

Nine Ordered By Dominion An order lias been placed by the New Zealand Government Railways with a British engineering firm for seven shunting locomotives, each to weigli in working order 15 tons and to develop approximately 93 to 120 horse-power. Advice of this has been received by the British Trade Commissioner from the Department of Overseas Trade. The engines for these units will be fitted in New Zealand.
