Evening Of One-Act Plays A successful evening of one-Uct plays was recently presented by the Wellington Catholic Players at their Little Theatre. The amusing play, “Enter the Hero,” produced by Miss Loftus, had in the cast Misses E. Drummond and F. Donovan, Mrs. M. M. King and Mr. T? J. Lacey. The crook drama, “Women of Mystery,” produced by Miss Ahern, was acted by Mrs. Gilligan, and Misses Ahern and Dwyer. "Old Moore’s Almanac” was produced by Miss Cunningham with the following cast : Messrs. Pat Hughes, T. P. McCarthy, and 11. Jones, and Misses Cunningham. Mottram, and Haugbey, An interesting talk on "Some Religious Poetry of the ’Nineties” was given by the Rev. Dr. Walsh. Mr. B. R. O’Brien sang, and incidental music was contributed by Misses K. Goodson, Milligan, and K. Byrne. Plays recently read by the society include “Dear Brutus,” with cast as follows: Mrs. Terry, Misses Ahern. Donovan, E. McCarthy, McDermott, and Thompson, Messrs, T. P. McCarthy, G. Reid, Lacey. Aldridge, and Conrick ; and "Ten Minutes Alibi.” with the following readers: Miss Emerson. Messrs. Phillips, Phillpot, IT. Jones, O’Kane, and Gordon.
