PLIMMERTON YACHTING
The Plimmerton Boating Club sailed two races ou Saturday afternoon. The first for the I and Z class boats, was declared off when two boats, Billyboy and Abbel capsized after the course was half completed. The second race, for X class boats, had four starters, all getting away to a good start. Watti Was first round Maori Bay buoy, but was passed by Tassie on the run to Barber’s Point, with Kia Ora and Clyde close up. Watti broke a halliard and fell back to fourth place. Tassie, .well handled, kept a good lead, and was never caught. Results:—Tassie (scr.), 4hr. 16min. 16sec., 1; Watti (scr.), 4.16.40, 2; Kia Ora (Imin. 45see.), 4.17,6, 3; Clyde (4Qsec.), 4.18.8, 4.
