PLIMMERTON YACHTING

The Plimmerton Boating Club sailed two races ou Saturday afternoon. The first for the I and Z class boats, was declared off when two boats, Billyboy and Abbel capsized after the course was half completed. The second race, for X class boats, had four starters, all getting away to a good start. Watti Was first round Maori Bay buoy, but was passed by Tassie on the run to Barber’s Point, with Kia Ora and Clyde close up. Watti broke a halliard and fell back to fourth place.
