POLAND’S HOPE
Neutral Belt In East Europe (Received March 22, 8.55 p.m.) Washington, March 22. The Polish Ambassador, Count PoRocki, described to the Press Poland’s hope, as a result of the rapprochement with Lithuania, of forming a “neutral belt” of eastern European nations extending from the Baltic to the Black Sea, and including Poland, Rumania, Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. They would carry out the same programme as proclaimed by th,e Oslo Powers to the west, namely, they would be united .against aggression* by economic treaties and avoid commitments to east or west.
