Tournament Play At Wellington Club Tournament play is now in full swing at the Wellington Bridge Club and the number of entries for all events testifies to the keenness of members. Sixteen teams of four entered for the yankee tournament, the unbeaten teams after the first two rounds being Mr. A. T, Duncan's team (Mrs. Duncan, Miss Chapman and Mr. Schneider), Miss Bunny’s team (Dr. and Mrs. Hutchison and Mrs. H. H. Young). Mr. Joplin's team (Mrs. Joplin, Mrs. Samson and Miss Kirwin), and Mr. H. Wilkinsons team (Mrs. Wilkinson and Mr. and Mrs. Rainey). Fourteen teams entered for the teams of four championship, and the four top teams for the first night’s play were Mrs. Caldow’s team (Mrs. Ashton, Mrs. Forster and Mr. Barrington), 4124 points; Mr A. T. Duncan's team (Mrs. Dunean, Mn and Mrs. H. H. Young), 400$ points; Mrs. Page’s team (Mrs. Joplin, Mrs. Samson and Mr. Maxfield), points; Mrs. Vogel’s team (Mrs. Turnbull, Mrs. Gibson Stott and Mrs. Nathan), 384 points. Winners of goblets tor the recreation evening held on February 22 were I— North-South. Mrs. Houston and Mrs. Johnston; East-West, Mrs. Jackson and Mr. A. T. Dunean; and for March 8, North-South, Mrs. Hutchinson and Mr. Wilkinson, and East-West, Mrs. Mclunes and Mrs. O’Donovan. The ladder evening on March 1 resulted in a win for Dr. and Mrs. Hutchison (North-South) and for Mrs. Samson and Mr. Barrington (East-West).
