Visitors to Wellington Airs. Percy Hunter, Flax Flat, Porangahau, accompanied her daughters the Misses Diana and Jean Hunter, to Wellington to bid them farewell when they sailed for England by the Rangitiki. Miss E. Pepper, Wanganui, is the guest of Mrs. E. Wlndley, Lower Hutt. Miss Eileen Hunter, daughter of Mr. Justice Hunter, is visiting Wellington and is staying at Sayes Court. Mrs. George Gould and Miss Barbara Gould, Christchurch, are staying at the Hotel Waterloo.

Dr. and Mrs. Hunter, Levin, are staying with Col. and Mrs. Pow, Kensington Street, Wellington. Miss Llarien Rutherford is spending a few days in Wellington. Mr. and Mrs W. A. Smith, Christchurch, have arrived, at Wellington from the south and are spending a few days with Mr. and Mrs. A. Culling, Upper Hutt, before leaving on a tour of the North Island.

Mrs. P. J. Fogarty, Blenheim, is visiting Wellington. Miss Aniuri Neville, of “Thurston,” Blenheim, is spending a few days at Wellington and is at the Hotel Waterloo. Miss Margaret Thompson is a Hastings visitor to Auckland. Mr. and Mrs. S. T. Pavlour-Smith. Dannevirke, are staying at the Hotel Grand Central, Wellington. On Holiday Airs. A. R. Bunny, Masterton, is visiting Takapuna, where she is the guest of her daughter, Airs. J. Stockman. Air. and Airs. Sydney Aloses, Alayfair Flats, left Wellington yesterday to spend two weeks at “The Portage,” Marlborough Sounds. Miss L. Sutherland. Wellington, is the guest of Airs. R. Sinclair, Timaru. Airs. H. W, Horton, Blenheim, is spending a holiday at Dannevirke. Aliss Aloira Bogue, Wellington, is staying with hpr aunt, ■ Alts. A. Tonner, Mosley Avenue, Devonport, Auckland.

Airs. Guy Hansard, Remuera, Auckland, and Airs. Seymour Spencer, Alission Bay, Auckland, have left by motorcar for ■Wellington en route to the Franz Josef Glacier. Air. and Airs. W. Cleave,. Hodges, Herts., England, who has come to New Zealand to visit her brother and sister-indaw, Air. and Mrs. Sidney Hodges, Auckland, is spending a week with Aliss Alabel Baird, Hastings. '

Matthews, Wellington, after a visit to the East Coast, is now the guest of the Misses Matthews, Mangapapa, Gisborne. Returned To Wellington Miss Kura Gibson, who has been the guest of Mrs. E. M. Harris, Hawera, has returned to Wellington. Mrs. Clive Drummond, Wellington, who has been visiting Auckland for the Catholic Centenary celebrations, has returned home. Miss Valerie Corliss, A.R.A.M., has returned from Palmerston North, where she addressed the inaugural meeting of the British Music Society and gave a short recital of music for pianoforte. Miss Alice Evans has returned to Wellington from Timaru, where she was the guest of Mrs. J. L. Gillies. Mrs. Duthie has returned to Heretaunga after visiting Auckland, where she was the guest of her daughter. Mrs. W. N. Abbott, Epsom.
