Pensions Amendment Bill “ Passed The Pensions Amendment Bill was put through the committee stage and passed by the Legislative Council yesterday. The Council, at its sitting last night, received from the House of Representatives and read a first time the Iron and Steel Industry Bill, the Thames Borough Commissioner Amendment Bill, and the Native Purposes Bill. The Council will sit at 10.30 a.m. today, when the second reading of the Iron and Steel Industry Bill will be taken.
