ENJOYABLE TRIP
New Zealand Tennis Giris In Australia Sydney, March 11. The manager of the New Zealand girls’ tennis team, Mr. G. Gore, says that the trip has been most enjoyable. The girls have all been very keen and have improved their play over here. They have also taken advantage of professional coaching. The New Zealanders’ performances in the age-limit championships were most creditable, with first and second places in the girls’ singles under 21; second in the doubles under 21; first and second with New South Wales partners in the mixed doubles under 21; first in the girls’ singles under 19; first with a New South Wales partner in the doubles under 19; and first with a New South Wales partner in the mixed doubles under 17, while Miss Hodges remains in the doubles under 17. The team, with the exception of Miss Armstrong, sails by the Awatea to-morrow.
