City Council Interested In Milk Supply (From “The Dominion,” March 14, 1013.) The control of the city milk supply was discussed at last night’s special meeting of the city council, when Cr. E. Tregear moved: “That, iu view of the fact that half the sickness and mortality of children has its source in contaminated food, the council take into serious consideration the question of the control of the milk supply of the city.” The motion was carried unanimously. The "Cologne Gazette” in a remarkable article says:—“lt will not be diflicult for the German Government to prove the necessity of the Army Bill if it will point without coiicealmen.t to the quarter when the next danger threatens— namely, France Never has the revanche idea shown itself more undisguisedly. France claims io support Russia and Britain merely to reconquer Alsace-Lorraine. It is’certain we will have to cross swords with, jfjafice,”- ,•
