The streets'in the centre of the ancient Austrian capital have resounded with pandemonium as the Austrian Nazis have demonstrated in the hope of shaking the courage of the Chancellor, Dr. Kurt von Schuschnigg, who has called for a plebiscite to be held on Sunday. to determine the attitude of the nation toward the question of union with Germany. The Nazis threaten to prevent the vote "by bloody disorder," hoping thereby to induce Herr Hitler to march into the country to restore order.
