Painted Gloves And Wider Bracelets JJANDS, wrists and arms count a great deal in the fashion scheme this season. All sorts of little tricks have been thought out to bring them into prominence. Bracelets grow wider and wider. Some of the gilt and chromium clip-on ones are almost as large as cuffs. Gloves are being made in every possible fabric, and those to go with garden-party frocks are very gay. Printed chiffon frocks will have printed chiffon gloves to match them. There are gloves of floral printed net; a pair of black suede gloves is background for yack and white mittens, complete with whiskers; and tiny pink and green Victorian posies are painted on elbow-length gloves, again of black suede. Designers have thrown over all conservative ideas and are handing us many Among the more acceptable ones are gauntlets in white crochet, gloves with silver sequin cuffs, and cuffs of suede in claret, jade, saxe, yellow and candy pink, all devoid of lyimming. Useful are plain, well-cut dark leather gloves, having darning stitch done with fine strips of coloured kid up and down the length of each finger, and along the outside of palm and wrist.
