Twenty-Eight Runners For Thompson Handicap FIRST DAY’S ACCEPTORS The acceptances for the first day of the Wellington Racing Club’s autumn meeting;-to be held on March 17 and 19, which closed yesterday afternoon, are larger than lust year’s. The Thompson Handicap field promises to be one of the biggest and best on record. There are 28 in the field. Last year the acceptance for the race was IS.
