MASSED BANDS DISPLAY
9 To-morrow afternoon a't the Basin Reserve the final massed bands’ display of the season will be held. A delightful outdoor entertainment will lie provided with thrilling music and a brilliant spectacle. The Winners of the championship B grade aggregate and quickstep at the recent New Zealand contest, the Institute Silver Band, will play the march which gained them the verdict at Palmerston North. The Red Cross Society will share in the proceeds of the collection. The Wellington Municipal Tramways Band will give a performance at Island Bay.
