WOMEN’S CRICKET FIXTURES
Wellington women’s cricket fixtures for Saturday are:— Senior: College Old Girls v. Technical Old Girls, Prince of Wales Park 1: Y.W.C.A. v. Kilbirnie, Prince of Wales Park 2; Wellington, a bye. Intermediate: Hutt v. Technical, Rolleston Street 1; Y.W.C.A. v. Trinity, Emerson Street 2. Junior: Hannahs v. Technical Old Girls, Emerson Street 1; Kilbirnie v. Lever Bros., Rolleston Street 2; College Old Girls v. Aitkens, Nairn Street.
With a thoughtful frown on his face, he walked along, talking to himself in loud argument. Arriving at a corner, he stopped, stood for some time, then a bored look came over his face. He cut. himself short in the middle of a sentence and shook his own hand. "Sorry, old boy.” he apologised, “but I’ve got to be going.”
