Astaire Conquers A New Dance "Floor"
QNE of the most curious dances ever filmed is introduced by Fred Astaire, George Burns anti Gracie Allen in a “fun house” at an English village fair as a feature of the musical comedy, “A Damsel in Distress." The set includes whirling floor dises, treadmills, chute-the-chute, bumpers, crazy mirrors, etc., arid the dance is executed on these. Astaire. Burns ami Allan, co-starred in the picture, are supported by* Reginald Gardiner. Ray Noble. Constance Collier, Montague Love and Harry Watson, .loan Fontaine plays the romantic lead opposite Astaire.
