Several Good Bags Taken VISCOUNT’S SUCCESSES Good catches of trout are reported from Taupo. Viscount Rant'urly fishing at. Fulljames Camp, in one day landed 10 lish, the best being of 51b. Some were taken on the dry fly, but most on the wet fly. The viscount also spent a day with two anglers wet fly his limit, including a 71b. fish. Also at Fulljames Camp. Admiral Bodell and Madame Clewes, France, secured 16 fish in one day, in'cluding one of 61b. and two of s|lb. Mr. and Mrs. H. Hunter, with Mr. and Mrs. Craig. Wellington, fishing at the same camp, landed 12 fisth, including one of 6jlb., which was caught with the dry fly. The remainder were caught with the wet fly. Mr. H. W. Lattey, Wellington, landed six fish in two and a-half limit's on the wet fly at the mouth of the Waipehi Stream, the largest being 41b. At the nioqth of the Waitahanui, Mr. V. E. Hampson Tindale, Wellington, in one day landed nine fish, his best weighing Sjib. At the same spot. Mr. F. Banks, Wellington, j caught five fish, the heaviest being 61b. Mr. J. Lane. Napier, on the wet fly, between the bridge and the mouth of the Waitahanui, landed an 81b. fish. Mr. H. S. Hooper. Dannevirke, fishing at the Four Mile Bay and the Spa reach, landed 29 fish in four days, all on the dry fly, including one of 9ilb., one of TJlb.. one of 71b. and one of 641 b., and a total weight of 1701 b. Mr. W. Russell. Dannevirke. in one (lay on the Spa reach, with the wet fly. landed five fish, incluting two of 441 b.
