FEILDING EWE FAIR
71/- Realised By Line Of Two-tooths Dominion Special Service. Feilding, February 18. There was a splendid sale at the annual ewe fair at Feilding, when more than 35,000 were offered. An excellent demand was in evidence from the opening, and was maintained throughout. Prices obtained showed that the lower wool values had no influence on ewe values, the averages being well above recent ruling rates, and much higher than last year’s fair. . rThe extraordinary price of 71./- was paid for a line of two-tooths, account J. Corpe, who had previously topped the fair more than once. Other lines of twotooths brought 40/- to 50/-. Best four-year ewes made to 34/-; fiveyear to 27/6; mixed ages to 34/6. All good quality ewes drew keen competition.
